I'm A Cereal Killer!

As stupid and cheesy as it sounds, I love a good Instagrammable food spot (and let's face it, who doesn't like food that looks AND tastes good?). One of my favorite that I've been to is the Cereal Killer Cafe. This cafe with a KILLER name has multiple locations, but I went to the one in Birmingham and was immediately transported to my childhood. Instead of seats, the benches were beds. I'm not kidding you. Fully made beds. And the walls were completely covered in cereal boxes, including ones that were old and discontinued, and other decor included arcade games.

When ordering, you can either create your own cereal masterpiece or you can opt for one of their pre-selections on the menu. They also serve milkshakes. Cereal can come with your choice of multiple types of milk (including dairy free). Pre-selected creations include the "Lion King" (a variety of caramel and chocolate cereals with caramel milk), the "Bananarama" (various banana cereals, Nutella, and Nutella milk) and what I ordered, the "Bowlacinno" (chocolate and coffee flavored cereals with espresso milk). Each bowl immediately transports you back to your childhood in the best way possible.

Whether it's the one in Birmingham, or a closer location, I strongly advise you to dig deep and find your inner Cereal Killer!

About Me

Hi, I'm Erika!

As a junior in college, I have been to 26 countries on 6 of the 7 continents and have plans to go wherever I can. I'll post about anything that strikes me on my adventures- both past and present.

All pictures used are my own original photography (unless noted otherwise).

In addition to traveling, I enjoy cuddling with my dog, Boomer, collecting carnival glass, and curling up with a blanket and a good book.
